Cold Creek / Wheelers Pass
This trail riding adventure takes you through the Spring Mountain Range where its not uncommon to find snow capped peaks in mid July. Once used as a logging road it winds through bristlecone pines to reach an elevation of 9,167 ft., high above the desert valley... often 30 degrees cooler. Wild mustangs, jack rabbits, blue jays, unexpected springs and wildflowers are all part of the rustic Western scenery. We recommend that you take a camera so that you can record your journey. This is a part of Nevada that remains virtually unchanged since pioneer days, far from the glittering strip, a family adventure that will provide lasting memories.
We provide lunch and bottled water. Customers are encouraged to bring any additional items to add to their comfort and enjoyment, such as food, beverages, clothing etc.
